Your recollection is good - it was cutaways in the centre pages, at least, until the feature moved to the back in the early 1960s.Will Grenhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14069664453092219298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-933803321368486321.post-87128517788759530572008-06-15T00:31:00.000+01:002008-06-15T00:31:00.000+01:00Thanks again for the weekend it will always remain...Thanks again for the weekend it will always remain with me. Nice to meet Howard, Will, Nigel and all. I had a lovely walk in the grounds the next day.

In a recent visit to Glasgow's Mitchell Library I met a man called John M.Blundall who has permanent
> exhibition/workshop at The Mitchell. He has spent more than 60 years 'in puppets' and
> he designed the marionettes for Gerry Anderson... Fireball, Stingray,
> Thunderbirds etc. He told me when he was making puppets and scenery for
> Anderson , Frank Bellamy used to come into the studio to copy the puppets
> for TV21 he thinks it was. He was sure that his recollection of EAGLE was
> the centre spreads that carried historical features? I thought it was always
> the cutaways but he seemed quite sure. A very interesting man and puppet
> maker/collector.
He has a great website www.the worldthroughwoodeneyes.co.ukGOLDEN EAGLEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04749504326096308915noreply@blogger.com
